Spyros Vosinakis is an Associate Professor at the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering, University of the Aegean, Greece with subject ‘Virtual Reality’. He holds a BSc in Informatics from the University of Piraeus, Greece, an MSc in Computer Graphics and Virtual Environments from the University of Hull, UK and a PhD in Informatics from the University of Piraeus, Greece with subject ‘Intelligent Agents in Virtual Environments’. His research interests include interactive 3D environments, virtual and augmented reality, serious games, educational technology, and digital heritage. He has published 85 scientific papers in journals, conference proceedings and book chapters, and his published work has received over 1100 citations. He has participated as a researcher in 14 funded R&D projects, in 5 of which he is also the scientific coordinator, and he has over 15 years of experience as a lead developer of interactive systems and 3D applications for companies and research projects. Since 2019 he is the director of the Interactive Systems Design Laboratory of the University of the Aegean.
