Kyparisia Papanikolaou

Kyparisia Papanikolaou, Professor in e-learning, School of Pedagogical and Technological Education, Athens, Greece. She received her BSc, MSc and PhD degrees from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens, Greece. Her primary research interests focus on (a) personalization at individual & group level, learning design, and open learner & group modeling in the area of adaptive & intelligent learning environments, as well as on computer science education and teacher professional development focusing on technology enhanced learning. She has participated in the development of several open educational resources, and web-based educational systems as the principal investigator like PeerLAND (Peer Assessment of LeArNing Designs), INSPIREus (INtelligent System for Personalised Instruction in a Remote Environment for us), MyProject, MyTeam.


Dr Kyparisia Papanikolaou has authored and co-authored more than 100 papers in international journals, conference proceedings and books. She has served as organizing and program committee member in several conferences and workshops in the area of technology enhanced learning.
