Double Blind Evaluation

In order to increase high quality papers and independent merit, the evaluation process of papers is double blind. All papers submitted for review MUST not contain the authors’ names, affiliations, or any information that may disclose the authors’ identity (this information is to be restored in the camera-ready version upon acceptance).

Authors should replace names and affiliations with Xs on submitted papers. In particular, in the version submitted for review, they should avoid explicit auto-references, such as “in [1] we show” — consider “in [1] it is shown“; i.e. they may cite previous works, provided that they are not deducible from the text that the cited works belong to the authors. When citing their previous work, they should keep the names with Xs.

Keynote Speech
How Artificial Intelligent Approaches Support Medical Decisions and Patients’ Wellbeing
Abstract: In modern, constantly developing society a lot of people suffer from critical, serious diseases and need almost everyday medical assistance. Accordingly, famous health big players and respectable research institutions all over the world have been recognized necessity of development of sophisticated specific software services that will help patients but also old and disabled people to successfully cope with everyday lives. Such services are more and more personalized in order to highly support patients’ quality of life and wellbeing.  For achieving high-quality medical services, it is necessary to collect, manage, analyze and use huge amounts of patient’s complex big data (like clinical, environmental, nutritional, physical activities…). It is necessary to properly process such data and present obtained results in a user-friendly manner to recommend adequate treatment and actions to improve patient’s health related issues.

Supported by rapid development of different new technologies and concepts like Internet of Things (IoT), Smart environments (SE), Smart and mobile devices, and so on, medical areas faced essential shift ahead.

The intention of this presentation is to give a brief overview on modern approaches in gathering, processing, and using huge amounts of data in precision medicine influenced by powerful techniques and approaches of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Agents Technologies.

Some typical cases and systems will be presented.
